Do I need any special hardware?

No. Sordin works on any device with a browser — laptops, tablets, phones. If you want a dedicated POS setup, our Electron desktop app turns any Windows PC into a full kiosk terminal with touch screen and receipt printer support.

Is there really no commission on orders?

Absolutely zero. You pay a flat monthly fee and keep 100% of every order. Compare that to delivery apps that take 15-35% of every sale. The only transaction fee is Stripe's standard card processing fee (1.4% + 20p).

How long does it take to set up?

Most restaurants are live within 24 hours. We handle menu setup, domain configuration, branding and payment integration for you. Just send us your menu and we do the rest.

Can I keep using Deliveroo / Just Eat alongside Sordin?

Yes. Many of our restaurants use Sordin for direct orders and keep delivery apps as an additional channel. Over time, most shift more volume to their own platform where margins are much higher.

What happens if my internet goes down?

Our EPOS desktop app has offline resilience built in. It shows a reconnecting screen and automatically resumes when the connection is restored. Your existing orders are safe on our cloud servers.
